Southend Saxons are delighted to announce the signing of John Kenward.
Kenward joins the club from National 2 outfit, Old Albanians. The 24 year old hooker has been involved on a regular basis for Old Albanians, who finished their campaign in seventh place. He brings with him both experience and versatility across the front row.
On joining the club Kenward said, “I’m really looking forward to joining Southend, getting stuck in and playing some good rugby with the boys!”. The optimism was shared by Josh Ward “John is a good signing for us. He’s young, hungry to succeed and has gathered some great experiences in National 2. We’re looking forward to transitioning John in during pre season”.
