The club are delighted to announce that the Saxons, joint, senior player of the season, Blue Newton has agreed a new contract extension.
Newton has quickly become a leading light in the Saxons line up over recent seasons, producing performances of a high quality in the second row. He accumulated over 1500 minutes last season, starting on 19 occasions for the Saxons.
Director of Rugby, Josh Ward said “Blue has been exceptional for us over recent times. His work rate both with and without the ball is second to none, added to his set piece value, he is a key member of our group and someone who is going to have an integral role to play in our push next season”.
